Organic search is the process of selecting resources using machine algorithms, taking into account the user's request. This does not include paid advertising and additional search engine services. In order to make your site relevant (attractive to a search engine within the target user's query), you need to compose a semantic core.
The semantic core is a set of words and phrases that reflect the topic of the site and which is used by the target audience. This definition is slightly different from the traditional definition, but it will help you stay in touch with reality. Thematic keywords are easily matched with analytics tools. You just need to put yourself in the shoes of your target audience and sort out hypotheses.
After building the semantic core, it is necessary to distribute the keywords across the pages of the site (make semantic landing pages for specific queries). Definitely, the structure of the site should allow for the insertion of keywords. However, it is worth maintaining the flexibility of the resource in order to effectively respond to changing trends.
The semantic core should be broad. What does it mean? Keywords can be divided into high frequency and low frequency. Using only high-frequency words seems obvious. However, high-frequency words only account for 20 percent of all searches. Consequently, 80 percent (the bulk) are narrow requests. Thus, in order to gain the necessary mass, you should include a lot of low-frequency queries.
